I like the trip function in Flickr. I can see using that to share trip photos with far away family and friends. Also like the Captioner and the Fastr mashups. Games and silliness are always welcome.

week 3 posting a picture

Just got back from a trip to New Orleans and went to Jackson Square. Lovely as always and fun to visit. Ate beignets at the Cafe de Mode (spelling?) across the street. walked along the levee and saw a young couple having a Mardi Gras theme wedding. New Orleans is still vibrant and beautiful, and working hard at recovery.

Lifelong Learning

Was looking back and realized I was supposed to do a post about lifelong learning. I thought the slide show was neat, although it seemed like there was supposed to be more music. Like when the star is "moving it." Enjoyed it though, and did learn some stuff. I like working in libraries because I feel like I'm always learning something new, and I feel that is what makes life interesting and worthwhile.

Internet safety

It's a super-info highway, right? That means you have to be reasonably careful, just like when you're driving on a real highway. So whenever I send e-mail, or now when I'm blogging, I try to re-read, edit and correct before I send something out where anyone can read it. Cause what you write can come back to haunt you.

starting late

Well, I'm starting late, but I am starting and I am enjoying playing around with this.
